It's always interesting seeing qualchan. splitting pieces up with more noisier, abrasive artists on his albums whenever he does. There's a nice contrast to be found between the more sporadic, experimental loops on the first half when you get to pair with a more cohesive force, like watching a thick darkness melt over onto a perfectly sculpted statue and create something oddly captivating. Fans of either experimental, industrial loop work and psychedelic tape manipulations will like this one.

A wonderful, emergent work of simple rhythmic phrases framed by textural swashes of guitar. It's one of those great albums that manages effortless simplicity whilst nonetheless offering so much more than the sum of its parts, a soundscape orientated by unusual dynamic and structural choices.
