Founder of alternative band Nohumaneye in 1977 with Martyn Scutt and Walter Keith. Originating from Aberdeen, the band formed in 1977 releasing the now highly collectible double-sided single Wet Your Lips/Owners Lose a Package in 1982. Discovered by the Red Crayola’s Mayo Thompson, the single was published by Cherry Red Music and distributed by Rough Trade Records. Nohumaneye reformed in 2020 to release the album Age of Extinction.

David released the album Promesse du Bonheur in 2018 under the name Baba Vuk in collaboration with Park Planet maestro Graham Duff which featured reimagined Nohumaneye songs.

2020 was a busy year musically. Nohumaneye released the album Age of Extinction nohumaneye.bandcamp.com. We collaborated with Pop Group legend Mark Stewart, who along with producer Matthew Shaw remixed some tracks from the album vimeo.com/464715232. We also featured on the #OurMusicCompliation album ourmusic-fundraiser1.bandcamp.com/album/our-music. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJHZYSUFA1s&feature=youtube.
