Says Rafael: "There is a saying in Portuguese that goes like "eu não cheguei tão longe pra desistir agora" - which translates quite literally to "I did not come this far to give up now" - the word "desistir" which means "give up" is phonetically close to the word "existir" which means "to exist" - this little change, changing "give up" for "to exist" generated the title "I did not come this far to exist now" which is the sound journey being presented to you in: EU NÃO CHEGUEI TÃO LONGE PRA DESISTIR AGORA

This album features a lot of amazing people and was recorded in several different places though a few different years, this is a musical/sound journey, going through spaces, minds, ambients, places, textures, lyrics, productions and vacuums. This is the weird interior of my musical mind where sometimes being cohesive is just being maximalist.

Blending field recording, hip-hop, improv noise and just general lo-fi madness, resulted in the sweet and beautiful sonic journey.

I also want to thank everyone who made this album possible, it was a lot of people because there are a lot of tracks that required a lot of different things to happen in order for them to be completed.
