Sedative Songs is a set of three pieces (one in two parts) written to help you reach a specific state. Not a state of meditation, but a state of sedation.

Much like the circumstances it was created in, this album is best enjoyed in the dark, letting its sounds and textures wash over you.

A collection of long-form drone pieces, built improvisationally layer on layer using guitars, bass and synth pads. Occasional bursts of static noise pierce the clouded and hazy atmospheres whilst hints of melody appear at the fringes.

A record made in and made of solitude, these explorations of the dark space between waking and sleep are intended to sooth and quiet the mind.
