Toxic Chicken is a long running project by Kai Nobuko, one that offers space for his unstoppable urge of making personal diary music with his craptop. Armed with his arsenal of original sampled sounds he called Amsterdam, London, Bangkok his breeding places for survival - yet home is where the heart is and its pretty much everywhere. From electro, experimental, synthpop to infamous lobit galore, the poisonous poultry seems to dabble in them all without being boxed. In this case we truly might speak of a free range chicken doing what he loves best; breeding out colourful eggs full of weird sounds and eclectic melodies.

For 'Wormhole World' the severely intoxicated chicken gave his rusty machinery a swing while a cocktail of alcohol, CBD and severe insomnia-battling dose of natural tranquilizers had him become the magical worm that was needed, one slimy creature ready to stick its entire body in to create the music available on this 'Wormhole' release. He became this creature that emerged in a psychedelic world in which low fidelity strangeness became a palette of colours, voices turn into instruments and coffee with other weirdoes become the happenings of the day. The worm chicken passes safely through the idiocy realm of quirky surrealism only to be greeted by a wild swarm of bees at the end - chasing us along with the feathered friend back to reality!
